Slow Ride is Hard on Hard?
SO. I am a Guitar Hero on Easy Mode, can't beat the last set on Medium and can't figure out the technique for the orange button for Hard... So, I'm a little stuck. My favorite character to play is Slash, because the pattern on the guitar is sikk. Ravens wearing top hats are pretty tough if you ask me. But, if I play all night, until like 4:30 AM, let's say... my brain feels like it's contracting and it's no good. Such a fun game, though. My cousins have World Tour-which is basically just Rock Band- Guitar Hero style. Except... well, I don't know if Rock Band does.. but, World Tour has songs in different languages-so you end up singing nonsense to the supposed tune of the song. If you can hear the song. The way people play those drums... you'd be lucky to hear anything else. Still-good times all around.

All around good movie. Although the plot can get fairly serious (such as domestic violence), it's shot with a tongue in cheek. Keri Russell delivered an unexpected performance, in my mind, but in a good way. Her accent is believable, and I was touched by her horrible home situation. Andy Griffith was my favorite character, by far, though. He played Russell's boss and was supposed to be the typical grouchy old man who went on endlessly about things no one cared about, but he revealed himself to be a more diverse character than that. I didn't entirely ever understand Fillion's character, and I wish to know why he participated in an affair, but we never get to hear his reasons. Overall, it's worth seeing for a feel-good time.

I tried to get though The Good Shepard, but I didn't really get drawn in, despite the all star cast (Matt Damon, Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, Angelina Jolie, etc).

I know I said I wanted to read new books this year, and I will, but I'm going to go through the His Dark Materials triliogy before I pass the books onto my Big for awhile.
